With hindsight, The Matrix's first two sequels, The Matrix Reloaded and The Matrix Revolutions, have received some new highs. The Wachowskis' creative ambitions and sublime storytelling were only seen many years later. One thing that hasn't changed, however, is the criticism directed at the worst villain The Architect, creator of the Matrix and ruler of machines.

As a symbolic threat, The Architect not only lays down Neo's "destiny" as The One, but also the antithesis of free will. However, he turns out to be a saboteur who makes sequels stop whenever he gets to philosophy. In short, The Architect plays the mastermind role of The Matrix Revolutions and The Matrix Reloaded better on concept than reality.

The only reason this Lex wasn't a laughing stock was because of Gene Hackman's diabolical performance.

The Fifth Element is the best movie despite having the worst villain. The main antagonist in the iconic sci-fi film directed by Luc Besson, The Fifth Element is a villain who is literally understood simply as a "Great Evil". However, "The Great Evil" is more abstract than physical, so it asks shady businessman Zorg to do his bidding. Although the “Great Evil” clearly stated its intention to end all life, Zorg thought that would honor the contract more.

Zorg, an unscrupulous capitalist, is eager to help "Mr. Shadow" because he sees mass deaths and galactic catastrophes as opportunities where he can profit. To add to how stupid Zorg's villain is, he's also been portrayed as a playboy with no respect, and he's never even surpassed Korben Dallas.

RoboCop 1987 is the best movie despite having the worst villain. In Paul Verhoeven's 1987 satirical masterpiece RoboCop, the big shot of the OCP, villain Dick Jones imagined himself as the savvy mind behind the security robot ED-209. In fact, Dick is a crime boss who uses violence when things don't go his way. But besides that stupid ruthlessness, Dick was also an extremely arrogant man, and at the same time too sure of his victories.

In short, the Weyland-Yutani corporation mistakenly believed that aliens could create a marketable biological weapon.

Burke followed his boss's orders, even bringing Ellen and Newt into Facehugger's sights and causing the group to die in a futile escape attempt. As Ellen said, Burke proved that humans are worse than Xenomorphs because unlike aliens who instinctively kill people, humans choose to kill with a worthless percentage.
