However, it's impossible to ignore how the franchise is reaching far to the same level of popularity as the Harry Potter, Twilight, and Hunger Games franchises to try to squeeze out the franchise for every last penny possible. Including the still-heated debate over whether series creator Hajime Isayama wrote a story to support nationalist ideals, and it's hard to recommend the series in full to those who haven't watched all of its previous seasons.

There's still no denying that the premiere of the final season literally crashed Crunchyroll, showing just how popular Attack on Titan has become.

Despite its popularity, the troublesome problems with the film cannot be ignored. There are some rave scenes of high school students animated with such incredible detail that the first episodes of the series went viral online, leaving anime fans everywhere in awe. However, for those who can overcome the strange choices in the anime, a strong story is contained in Akebi's Sailor Uniform.
