Hashima is one of 505 deserted islands in Nagasaki prefecture and about 15 km from Nagasaki Prefecture. At the highest point, the island had 5,259 people living in 1958. Petroleum was used instead of coal in Japan in the years 1960, causing coal mining on the island to terminate in the year 1974. From a distance, the island looks like an abandoned battleship. Hashima Island has hospitals, schools, temples and several shops, restaurants and other works. But they are all present in a state of desolation. Return to the island in 2000 and the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the year 2015. The island was once planned to become a huge garbage dump, but ultimately the plan was not deployed. The island began to be famous around the world after the Google Street service announced the image of the venue in 2013. Many people believe that the island has ghosts and this is one of the reasons for appealing visitors. People said they heard strange sounds when visiting abandoned works. The degradation of the works made the island look like a haunted state.
