Kata Noi Beach

Wat Chlong Temple

Built in the 19th century, Wat Chlong is considered one of the most famous attractions in Phuket. It worships 2 main monasteries Luang Pho Chuang and Luang Pho Chaem along with the gods who protect the people of this island. Wat Chalong is a complex consisting of many small temples, most notably the Poh Than Jao temple. The main tower of Wat Chalong temple is up to 60 meters high, according to the people here the temple is a place to worship a piece of the relics of the Buddha.
