The Unholy - 2021

The Unholy is an American supernatural thriller film written, co-produced and directed by Evan Spiliotopoulos, based on James Herbert's 1983 novel Shrine.

The Unholy revolves around deaf girl Alice (Cricket Brown) in a small town in New England. One day, she can suddenly hear and speak as normal and gain the power to heal people. Hundreds of thousands of people from across the country flocked to witness her miracle. In this issue, journalist Gerry Fenn (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) wants to make a report to save his career. However, a series of horrific events occur that make him gradually realize that the evil force is really behind the young girl.
