The golden sword allowed him to seal the divinity of a god. This allows him to fight against the many gods who are ravaging the human world. While Verethragna was an Iranian god, other deities included figures from Greece such as Athena, Perseus, and Pandora. It is a fighting anime with a powerful protagonist against the strongest that the gods give.
