Top 12 new world heritage sites recognized by UNESCO in 2019
World Heritage Site is a landmark or area chosen by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and cultural institution that is valued for culture, history, science or other meaningful form and is protected by law by international treaties. From 1978 to now, the United Nations ' cultural agency has recognized a total of 1,121 wins with "Outstanding universal value", including natural, cultural and mixed venues. Recognized locations must meet at least 1 of the 10 criteria set by UNESCO: Symbolizes a masterpiece that reflects human creative genius, remarkable natural beauty, or prominent of a traditional human settlement,.... At the 43 session of the UNESCO World Heritage Committee held in Baku, Azerbaijan, which took place from 30/6 to the last 10/7/2019, chose 29 of the 35 nominated places of the nomination, to include a list of UNESCO World Heritage sites. Mafra Royal Palace (Portugal)

Located about 28km from the capital of Lisbon, Mafra Royal Palace is constructed from 1717 in a Moroccan style with a classy white mainstream. It became one of the world's largest palace with a total area of up to 40,000 square meters. The palace was completed in 1750 thanks to 50,000 workers. Currently, a part of the Royal Palace of Mafra is used as a national library with thousands of rare books.

Mozu-Furuichi Tombs (Japan)

Located on a plateau in the Sakai region, Osaka Prefecture, the Mozu-Furuichi tombs consists of 49 tombs built in the 4th century until the 5th century stretching between the city of Sakai in Osaka, the city of Habikino and the city of Fujiidera. Among them, the large-hole-shaped tomb to 486m is the "Mausoleum of the Nintoku Emperor".
Experts said these ancient tombs not only showed the highly developed construction technique of the ancient era, but it also contained tremendous value in the study of the formation of the Japanese country.

Jodrell Bank Observatory (UK)

Located in a rural area northwest of England, since its beginning in 1945, Jodrell Bank has become one of the leading Radio astronomical observatory in the world, which impacts the discovery of meteorites, moons, and exploration of the universe. The Jodrell Bank Observatory comprises several radio telescopes and is part of the University of Manchester Jodrell Bank's Astronomical Physics centre. The main telescope at the observatory was the Lovell telescope, the third largest controlled radio telescope in the world. The observatory is still active, including several radio telescopes, work buildings, technical warehouses and control centers.
