She made her acting debut in the teen drama Dream High and won the Best New Actress award at the KBS Drama Awards. She moved into acting and reality shows before playing a supporting role in the KBS drama Big Drama. Her next role was in the historical drama Gu Family Book, where she won the top actress award at the MBC Drama Awards as well as the Best Actress Award at the Seoul International Drama Awards.



 



One of her most successful Korean dramas was the fantasy thriller While You Were Sleeping, at which time just hearing the name Bae Suzy was enough to make Korean movie lovers immediately mark the film as a must-see. Hyeri studied at Seoul School of Theater and Arts majoring in film at Konkuk University, so it should come as no surprise that she went from being an idol to acting. Her debut role was as Jang Mi-hyun in SBS's Tasty Life. She quickly rose to fame and went on to star in the teen dramas Schoolgirl Detectives and the romantic comedies Hyde, Jekyll and Me.



 



Her best acting role was undoubtedly as Sung Duk-sun in Reply 1988, which was a huge commercial success and the drama also became one of the highest-rated Korean dramas of all time. She won the New Star Award at the 2016 SBS Drama Awards for her role as Jung Geu-rin in Entertainer. She then went on to work with 2 TV series, a police drama called Two Cops and the office romantic comedy Miss Lee.

Yoona comes from the popular boy band SNSD under SM Entertainment. Ever since she was a lovely little girl who understood her pure appearance and shapely face, she began acting in commercials, music videos and TV series. Currently, she is still actively acting in films not only in Korea but also acting for dramas in China. She launched her acting career with supporting roles in MBC dramas Two Outs in the Ninth Inning and Woman of Matchless Beauty. She first starred in KBS's You Are My Destiny, which she said was a turning point in her career. Yoona won two Best New Actress awards at the 2008 KBS Drama Awards and the 45th Baeksang Arts. Thanks to this tremendous recognition, she was able to take on the lead role in MBC's Cinderella Man.



After a one-year absence, Yoona returned as an actor with the lead role in the KBS fantasy drama Love Rain and continued with the romantic comedy Prime Minister &I.  The role went on to receive the Excellence Award at the 2013 KBS Film Awards. In the following years, Yoona broke into the Chinese acting market before starring in an action thriller The K2 (codenamed K2) in her home country.
