A comedy adventure film inspired by the story The Ant and the Grasshopper by Aesop.
The main character of the story is Flik – a clumsy, young ant who likes to create his own inventions, but his inventions only bring trouble to his colony. Due to Flik's mistake, the entire ant colony is in danger of starving to death during the winter when food is lost. Determined to protect the ant community from a swarm of locusts, Flik sets out on a journey to find "strong warriors". Unfortunately, the "warriors" he brought back turned out to be a brilliant circus troupe.
