“A girl at my door” – was nominated at the Cannes Film Festival 2014. The film is about a police woman Lee Young-nam who is transferred from Seoul to work in a quiet coastal town. She meets Do Hee (Kim Sae Ron) here, a 14-year-old girl with wounds on her body and soul. Because she is a victim of family violence, child violence from her own father and grandmother.
Young Nam has protected and helped Do Hee but she can’t imagine that she is also a victim from Do Hee's stepfather.
