Akashi Kaikyo Bridge is a structural suspension bridge in Japan north through Akashi Bay, connecting Maiko in Kobe with Iwaya of Awaji Island and part of the highway Honshu – Shikoku. In 1995, an earthquake of 7.2 Richter had resulted in more than 6000 killed, but the bridge was not "wobbly". This bridge is considered the "Pride of the Japanese" before the world.
