Charlie Kaufman began his career as a screenwriter on such visually unique films as Being John Malkovich, Adaptation and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. In 2015, Kaufman turned his talent into stop-motion with the animated feature Anomalisa, the first R-rated film to be nominated for Best Animated Feature at the Academy Awards.Anomalisa follows a man devastated by his own existence.
