Batman & Mr. Freeze: SubZero with IMDb 7.2 is the second film made in Bruce Timm's DC animated universe set between Batman: The Animated Series and The New Batman Adventures. Mr. Freeze returns to Gotham to use Barbara Gordon as the key to a cure for his terminally ill wife.
Although Batman & Mr. Freeze: SubZero doesn't quite reach the level of other DC animated movies, but it's still a powerful piece of work ever made. Mr. Freeze is as tragic as ever so it's hard to hate him, Kevin Conroy's Batman doesn't disappoint, Batman & Mr. Freeze: SubZero perfectly keeps the tension and suspense throughout the movie.
