Berserk is the best fantasy anime similar to Attack On Titan, it is also a very popular dark horror series for many years. The anime focuses on most of the stories in the manga since it started showing. The story depicts a group of mercenaries named the Band of the Hawk and the protagonist, Guts. Their leader Griffith becomes Guts' best friend but is rather distant and mysterious.
Berserk has a few creepy horror scenes, besides depicting betrayal between the characters. Fans have been waiting to see how it ends for a very long time but like Attack on Titan, it was worth the wait.
