Trailer of the movie about runaway lovers, Bonnie and Clyde
Considered a landmark film, a film about runaway lovers, Bonnie and Clyde is based on the true story of bank robbers named Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow. Like in real life, lovers Bonnie - Clyde (Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway) begin a cross-country crime struggle involving looting, which eventually leads to a violent death.
Although based on an old story, director Arthur Penn used techniques from the "new wave" movement in France to create a new gangster film unlike previous films. For a mainstream film, Bonnie and Clyde broke the rules because it dealt with sex and violence on screen, which ultimately changed the motion picture landscape after its release in 1967.
