Call Me by Your Name is a 2017 film directed by Luca Guadagnino, adapted from the novel of the same name by André Aciman.
The plot revolves around the love story between Elio (played by Timothée Chalamet), a teenager living in Italy, and Oliver (played by Armie Hammer), an American who comes to contribute to Elio's family during the summer vacation. Although Elio does not seem close to Oliver at first, they later begin to have deep conversations and become friends.
Gradually, Elio discovers that he has feelings for Oliver, and these feelings are also reciprocated by Oliver. The two begin to have a beautiful, sweet but also difficult love affair. As the summer draws to a close, Elio faces separation and, in addition, troubles when their relationship is reunited.
