ContentsDenji has a simple dream - to live a happy and peaceful life, spending time with a girl he likes. However, this is far from reality, as Denji is forced by the yakuza to kill demons to pay off his mounting debts. Using his pet demon Pochita as a weapon, he is willing to do anything for just a little cash.
Unfortunately, he was no longer useful and was killed by a demon under contract with the yakuza. However, in an unexpected turn of events, Pochita fuses with Denji's corpse and grants him the powers of a chainsaw demon. Now able to turn body parts into chainsaws, a revived Denji uses his new abilities to quickly and brutally destroy his enemies. To catch the eye of the demon hunters who officially arrived on the scene, he was offered a job at the Public Safety Bureau as one of them.
