Australia's Great Barrier Reef is the world's largest and longest reef group, located in the southern hemisphere. Includes more than 2,900 coral reefs and 900 islands spanning over 2,300 kilometres with a total area of 344,400 kilometers along with unique natural landscapes. To the south of the Great Barrier Reef, 241 km north of the coast, to the nearest to the coast, is just 16 km from the seafront. When the tide descends, part of the coral reefs emerge from the water surface to form coral islands. There is a very convenient sea route between the Reef group and the coastline. When the sea is silent, the cruise ships pass by, the colourful coral landscape in the boat becomes the wonders of attracting tourists from all over the world. The Great Barrier Reef was listed as a World Heritage list in the year 1981.
