Many people consider Hollywood to be the place where their dreams come true. But it was here that the young Xiaoming (Huang Xiaoming) had his dream dashed when his soon-to-be-wed girlfriend decided to break up with him in order to stay and learn to direct. Xiao Ming decided to fly to Los Angeles and propose to his future wife in order to win her heart back. During the journey, a series of bad and funny situations forced Xiaoming to join the group with Dawei (Tong Dawei, a man who looked like a child and could only see his life through the lens of cinema; and Wei Wei (Zhao Wei), a beautiful female tour guide with a cranky personality.
