Imitation (2021) is a film about Lee Ma Ha (Jung Ji So) who is a member of the K-pop girl group Tea Party. Although the group is not famous, Ma Ha still receives the attention of the media due to her similar appearance to the famous solo singer La Ri Ma (Park Ji Yeon). During a reality TV show where idols attend sporting events, Ma Ha accidentally injures Hyuk (Choi Jong Ho), a member of the popular boy band Shax. Another Shax member, Kwon Ryuk (Lee Joon Young), begins to dislike Ma Ha due to the incident and her attempt to become famous by imitating Ri Ma. However, the two were forced to cross paths on TV shows and when they co-starred in a TV series. Meanwhile, Ma Ha's childhood friend and idol, Lee Yoo Jin (Jung Yoon Ho), from the group Sparkling, has feelings for Ma Ha and tries to protect her from what he believes Ryok have negative intentions towards her.
