When it gets summer, schoolgirl Hotaru boards a train back to her hometown for summer vacation and finds Gin, a mysterious masked boy who lives in the deep forest. Years ago, Hotaru got lost in the mystical forest and was lucky enough to befriend Gin, accompanying him on exciting adventures. As time went on, each year, the two spent the summer together and their friendship grew. Then when Hotaru becomes a young woman, vibrations begin to appear between the two friends, but unfortunately Gin is a soul who, if touched, will be broken, disappear forever.
