Based on the 1974 Kamen Rider Amazon series, Kamen Rider Amazons with an IMDb score of 7.9 is a 2016 web series airing on Amazon Prime Video, it retells the story of the 1974 series with a more mature plot. Set in an alternate universe separate from the main Kamen Rider series, the film becomes much darker and more violent. The film focuses on the duo Haruka Mizusawa and Jin Takayama, who fight monsters known as "Amazons" after they are given the power by the company Nozama Pharmacy to transform into Amazon Omega and Alpha respectively.
