Khun Phaen Begins is a Thanland product starring the lovely Mario Maurer.The Legend of the Beginning is based on Khun Chang Khun Phaen, Thailand's largest folklore work. The main character in the film is Kaew of Khun Chang Khun Phaen. The young man, who has lost his memory and is helpless, becomes a petty criminal who goes around causing trouble for his best friend Petch. He ran into two childhood pals, Chang and Pim, when he landed in Ayutthaya. Kaew increasingly recalls his father's terrible previous stories and learns that he was a nobleman who was hanged for treason.
