The station was constructed by the colonial population since 1910 and is a very worth visiting cultural destination. It is designed in a Mogul style by the English architect, AB Hubback. Currently, the station is still operating as a KTM tram stop, so you can catch a "train ride" to get to your chosen location. Across from the train station is the Malaysia Railway Management building, a place with a unique historic structure worth visiting before boarding the train.
