Lady Gaga walked to the red carpet inside an egg designed by Hussein Chalayan. "She's incubated. She won't be born until tonight's performance," said her choreographer Laurieann Gibson. After finally "blooming" on stage, Lady Gaga donned a rubber outfit from Nicole Formichetti's Mugler to perform her hit Born This Way, a true testament to Lady Gaga's theatrical abilities.
