My ID Is Gangnam Beauty is a 2018 television series starring Im Soo-hyang, Cha Eun-woo, Jo Woo-ri, and Kwak Dong-yeon. The series is based on a webtoon series of the same name published by Naver Webtoon. Kang Mi-rae decided to get plastic surgery after being bullied because of her looks. However, at university, she was teased again as the "Gangnam Aesthetic Monster". The drama tells the story of restoring her self-esteem when she gets to know Do Kyung-seok.
Im Soo-hyang as Kang Mi-rae is a shy and weak girl who has low self-esteem due to her "ugly" appearance. She aspires to be a perfumer. Thanks to Kyung-seok, she gradually let go of her inferiority and weakness, realizing her worth. Jo Woo-ri as Hyun Soo-a is a popular girl in the Chemistry department due to her beautiful appearance. She appeared innocent but her actions proved otherwise. She is hated by Kyung-seok, because of her foxy and somewhat vile personality. She doesn't like Mi-rae, but always tries to be close to Mi-rae. She likes Kyung-seok but is often rejected by him somewhat harshly.
