My Romance From Far Away begins with the story of 6-year-old Tawan who loses both his parents in an accident at the same time, leaving only his mother's brother Khunkhao – the owner of a coffee plantation in the mountains, and his father's sister Torfah, a businesswoman in Bangkok fighting for custody and care for the boy.
