Never Have I Ever follows Devi, an Indian-American teenage girl who is trying to live with her family in southern California. Not only does she have to deal with the trials and tribulations of being a typical high school student, but she is also forced to follow the cultural norms that her family upholds. After experiencing major losses, she decides to "dump" the most popular guy in school even if it means she has to lie to the people she loves the most.
