Open Water (2003): The film is inspired by a true story that happened in 1988, about a fateful trip of a couple trying to heal their feelings. Because they are engrossed in diving, they are left by the group inclusive with a ferocious shark without knowing it. Unlike other shark-themed movies, Open Water is made in the direction of fake documents, exploiting the element psychological fear of the two main characters. Thanks to the private footage of real sharks behavior, the audience experienced many dramatic, suffocating scenes. The film achieved great success and grossed 10 times higher than budget.
