The movie Parasite is a 2019 South Korean film, directed by Bong Joon-ho, and became the highest-grossing film in Korean history. The film is about the Kim family, a poor family living in a dark apartment. One day, the son of the Kim family is asked for help to pretend to be a tutor for the Park family, a wealthy family.
Gradually, the whole Kim family sneaked into the Park family, doing various jobs in the house, not letting Park know. However, the Park family's life is gradually disturbed by strange events, causing the relationship between the two families to begin to completely fall apart.
The film Parasite was praised a lot for the script, the actors' acting, and the logical way of building the plot. The film won the Palme d'Or award at the 2019 Cannes Film Festival and the Academy Award for Best Picture at the 92nd Academy Awards.
