Rampant is the first zombie-themed historical drama in Korea. The film is set in the Joseon Dynasty, when it was still under Qing rule. The film stars two famous actors, Hyun Bin and Jang Dong Gun.The plot revolves around Prince Lee Chung (Hyun Bin). He was an extraordinarily talented prince but was rejected by his father. Lee Chung was taken hostage to the Qing Dynasty long ago.
After being returned, Lee Chung encounters the night demons – a horde of terrifying cannibalistic undead that appear at night. Lee Chung had to fight against them. Besides, the prince also has to face the plot of the minister Kim Ja Joon (Jang Dong Gun).
