Another "member" of the "27" club is blues legend Robert Johnson. The late Musician died in 1938 after being poisoned. Johnson always wanted to play guitar and blues but he wasn't good at it. One night, he disappeared and returned changed into a different person. According to friends, he became noticeably better overnight, and when they asked him what he was doing, Johnson told them he had met a demon at a crossroads (the intersection is in Mississippi). The devil tuned his guitar strings and gave Johnson the talent in exchange for his soul. Johnson wrote a song titled "Me & the Devil" and rumors of his dealings with the devil have never subsided.
