After deciding to debut, Kate and her Doll Emilico have officially become residents of Shadows House. However, they are always on the lookout for the Star Bearers - an elite group in charge of the children's wing. To escape their tracking and the sick methods they use to keep everyone's loyalty, Kate and Emilico must be wary of who to trust and work toward their goal of becoming the Star Bearers.
Meanwhile, the Star bearers run into problems of their own. A mysterious cloaked figure dubbed "Master Robe" has infiltrated and roamed around the children's wing. At first, Master Robe is considered harmless, but many incidents begin to happen that endanger the lives of the Dolls — all pointing to the suspicious individual. To improve her reputation, Kate decides to solve the mystery herself. However, with too few clues and too many suspects, finding Master Robe and their motive for attacking the mansion becomes more difficult than she imagined.
