From an early age, Hiyori Yamakawa witnessed her father's various eccentric actions, but one activity she always loved doing with him was fishing – a complex but rewarding method of catching fish. Even after his sudden death, Hiyori still visits the coast in her spare time, enjoying the joy that her father's memorabilia brings her.
Three years later, Hiyori's mother decides to remarry and arranges a dinner with her fiancé, his daughter, and Hiyori to celebrate. Nervous and wanting to pass the time, Hiyori goes to her familiar fishing spot when a rather energetic girl named Koharu Minagi suddenly appears in front of her. The two quickly become acquainted, Koharu enjoys fly fishing. However, their meeting isn't just a coincidence: Koharu turns out to be Hiyori's future step-sibling, which is just the beginning of precious memories that the two will reel in as they nurture their sisterhood.
