The movie Snowpiercer (Korean movie) is set in the year 2031, after an attempt to prevent global warming through climate intervention failed, causing the Earth to return to an ice age. The survivors are put on a train around the world called Snowpiercer, run by reclusive shipping magnate Wilford.
The film tells the story of Seok-woo (Chris Evans), a man who lives in the back car of the train, a place for the poor and despised. He plans to take his daughter, Soo-an (Ko Ah-sung), to the front carriage, which is reserved for the rich and elite.
Seok-woo and Soo-an meet another group of people who are also trying to get to the previous car. Together they plan to rebel against Wilford and the unfair class system on the ship.
