Many anime fans are always looking forward to new anime films from director Makoto Shinkai, one of the hottest anime directors of all time. After the previous hit film Child of the Weather in 2019, the director revealed the first announcement about his new animated film titled Suzume no Tojimari that will premiere this fall. The film is set in abandoned places throughout Japan, and revolves around a 17-year-old girl living in the Kyushu region.
