The Constant Gardener Trailer
The film is based on the novel of the same name by John le Carre which was released in 2005 in the territory of Kenya and Sudan. The film was shot mostly in Nairobi (the capital of Kenya) and concentrated in the Kibera slum (the slum near Nairobi). However, the most memorable scene of the film was the scene in Lake Turkana, northern Kenya.
Turkana is a large lake located just north of the Great Rift Valley. The area still has tribes living on animal husbandry and foraging. It is located on the largest desert in the world with arid nature. The lake was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1990.
Visitors to the area will see wildlife, exotic birds that live near the sea or migratory birds.
