The Holiday tells of two beautiful women who do not experience luck in love. Amanda (Cameron Diaz), a female editor specializing in the popular movie trailers in Hollywood. She was successful in her work and had a very modern house in Los Angeles, but Amanda discovered her boyfriend who was going to be an adultery with a receptionist. Meanwhile, Iris (Kate Winslet), the editor of a newspaper in London, fell in love with his boss and the editor and nearly collapsed knowing he was about to get engaged in Christmas. Two desperate girls in love when Christmas comes near have turned the fate when by chance to see the online Exchange service. Amanda comes to the house in the cold suburb of Iris in London, while Iris comes to the modern, sunny apartment in Los Angeles.
