The film The Last of Us is a 2023 television series, based on the video game of the same name developed by Naughty Dog and released by Sony Computer Entertainment in 2013.
It tells the story of Joel, a man who survived a pandemic that broke out to the point where most humans became bloodthirsty man-eating monsters. He meets Ellie, a 14-year-old girl who is believed to be immune to the virus, but is still childish, dancing. Joel decides to help her avoid a newly formed human organization who plans to vaccinate Ellie in order to extract this immune vaccine and save humanity.
The two begin their journey through countless dangers everywhere, meeting and interacting with different characters and learning a lot about the friendship and affection between them. In the process of finding Ellie's desired new voice and struggling to survive, Joel and Ellie's feelings gradually develop.
