Violet Evergarden is definitely an anime at its best, a culmination of Kyoto Animation's work. Released in winter 2018, this is a fantasy anime film with a rather emotional story, combining beautiful images, Violet Evergarden won the "Best Animated Feature" award at the 2019 Crunchyroll Awards. With only 13 episodes, anime has qualified for the title of “Masterpiece”. Violet Evergarden is very gentle and emotional, but the pace of the movie is not so slow. The character design is great, the animation tones are quite different from any of the studio's other anime, so it's not hard to see why it's an anime worth watching.
The story follows Violet Evergarden, who is caught up in war and loses the person she loves the most.
