Duration: 5 months (from 8/2019 to 1/2020) X1 is the winner of the survival show Produce X 101, which debuted in August 2019. Unlike senior groups, the contracts of 11 boys were fixed for up to 5 years, but they had not gone 1/12 of the way, they had to disintegrate in anger despite being dubbed the "dinosaur rookie" of Kpop. The reason for X1's disbandment was related to the cheating scandal of the show Produce 101. Evidence suggests that X1's squad was manipulated, which led to the group being "frozen" after only operating for a few months and subject to police investigation. In January 2020, X1 officially disbanded because each member's company could not find a common voice in the future of the group.
