2 SuperHot VR

SuperHot VR only really moves when you move and bring it into the world of virtual reality (Image credit: Oculus)
Initial release date: December 5, 2016
Publisher: SUPERHOT Team
Designer: Cezary Skorupka
Developer: SUPERHOT Team
Platforms: PlayStation 4, Microsoft Windows
Genre: First Person Shooter, Puzzle Video Games, Fighting Video Games, Simulation Video Games
If you've ever imagined what it would be like to be a polygon assassin through a series of extreme environments, then SuperHot VR could be perfect for you. The game takes SuperHot VR's core timing mechanics that only really move when you're moving and takes it into the virtual reality world. So when you physically dodge a bullet, the projectile's path changes from moving forward to a faster speed.
Normal SuperHot VR is pretty cool, but ironically it feels supercharged in SuperHot VR. Suddenly, you're in the middle of slow-motion action that feels insanely insane. You have to really consider where you are in space and think a few steps ahead to narrowly avoid death.
SuperHot VR is also quite fun; Throwing a book or even your own gun at an oncoming enemy and watching them fall is a good combination of Jason Bourne, John Wick and Austin Powers. Just be aware that it can be very tempting. And if you don't have a lot of space around you, you can find a suitable hook aimed at enemies and end up crashing a wall in the real world SuperHot VR!

You'll sneak, shoot, and find your way through zombie-infested New Orleans with every major choice you make leading to equally devastating consequences.
The Walking Dead: Saints and Sinners advanced crafting system lets you craft temporary gears with reliable weights and scales. Just like in real life, you will have to properly handle these fragile weapons with long-term use. Between degraded weapons and a limited stamina system, you must decide on the best path to complete the goal of The Walking Dead: Saints and Sinners. Stealth approaches can make things more difficult as a mission progresses. On the other hand, rolling around to encounter flaming guns often leaves you with no weapons to fight off a bunch of undead.
The Walking Dead: Saints and Sinners strikes a balance between role-playing and entertainment that the Quest store is desperately lacking. Besides the PC-exclusive Half Life: Alyx, this is the best AAA VR campaign.

Original release date: August 29, 2016
Developer: Downpour Interactive
Platforms: Oculus Quest, Microsoft Windows
Publishers: Downpour Interactive, Coatsink
Genre: Virtual Reality, Tactical Shooter
More suited to Rainbow Six: Siege than Call of Duty, Onward's non-revival 5v5 competitive gameplay requires strategic planning and extensive communication between teammates for a successful operation. Your hits are limited, and reloading requires you to do rounds for a strangely realistic military experience. Unconstrained by wires, Onward shines on Quest 2 more than any other VR headset.
The sense of freedom that comes from cutting the rope allows you to take cover and snuggle up in dozens of official Onward maps without any worries. In order to keep the game from getting old, there are many maps created by the community. Each setting is full of detail and offers plenty of room to hide in intense gunfights. Under fire, your field of vision narrows to simulate combat tension. While this is quite immersive, interacting with all of Onward's devices is really to the next level.
Each of the more than 40 guns in Onward requires their clips to be emptied and the bullets divided into compartments for reloading. This means it will take you time to load and fit clips into secondary weapons or individual bullets into weapons like pistols and revolvers. Your stock equipment regardless of load includes a health syringe on your waist, radio on your left shoulder and tablet on your back. These tools help you revive downed teammates and communicate with teammates too far away to use close chat.
