Sergeant Chun Woo's cross-border scam
The work is set in the military border area between South Korea and North Korea. Korean soldier Chun Woo (Go Kyung-Pyo) accidentally picked up a winning lottery ticket worth $5.7 million. The guy carelessly lets the lottery ticket fly to the other side of the border, falling into the hands of North Korean soldier Yong Ho (Lee Yi-Kyung). Chun Woo wanted to get it back, but Yong Ho didn't pay it back but couldn't go to Korea to receive the reward. The story became even more complicated when both of their teammates found out and participated in the negotiations.
The agreement was that the North Korean side returned the lottery tickets, and the South Korean side took on the task of exchanging prizes. Before the money was brought back, the two sides exchanged a soldier as hostage, the chosen ones were Chun Woo and Yong Ho. The exchange entailed many funny and sad stories, as the two soldiers tried to avoid revealing their identities in the new military environment.
