The Accidental Detective 2: In Action is a story about how after successfully solving the case in part 1, Dae-man and Tae-soo joined forces and officially opened a private detective agency. Although he is no longer unemployed, "baby detective" Dae-man still has his natural fear of his wife, along with the "debt" of a young daughter that he has to carry when solving cases. This causes countless "work accidents" for both. Inspector Tae-soo played even bigger when he decided to quit his job at the police department to work with Dae-man.
