Top 1 in Top 10 most beautiful national parks in the world.
Canaima National Park is the sixth largest national park in the world, spread over 3 million hectares in southeastern Venezuela, close to the border between Guyana and Brazil. Most of the area of the national park is covered with table mountains (tepui) creating an amazing landscape with steep cliffs and waterfalls. Tepui have great geological value because they represent unique biological geological entities. Canaima is also home to Angel Falls, the world's tallest waterfall (979 m or 3211 ft). The falls are named after Jimmy Angel, an American gold prospector and explorer who discovered it in 1937. The height of the falls was so great that before hitting the ground, the water was ground into mist by strong winds
