Top 10 in Top 10 Things Only Introverts Realize.
Will you take me out to eat? There is a stigma attached to eating alone in restaurants. Extroverts may think it's lonely or sad. If they see someone eating alone, they assume they have no friends to eat with. But introverts know that there's nothing wrong with food. In fact, it can be more fun than going out to eat with other people. First of all, eating alone gives you a chance to enjoy your food. You develop a better appreciation for the food you eat when you can only focus on what's on your plate. When dining with others, your focus will be divided between food and conversation. Often, your meals are forgotten because you are too preoccupied with not knowing what to say. When dining alone, though, you don't have to work or think because the dialogue isn't on the menu. Instead, you can take your time eating. You can also observe your environment, as many introverts do. You can observe others, appreciate the environment, and converse with yourself. Extroverts may be unaware of the advantages of eating alone.
