Four thousand weeks

Top 1 in Top 10 Books To Read to Change Your Life.

Oliver Berkman wrote 4 000 weeks. It's sort of like a productivity book about time management, but it's not; it's more of a philosophical approach to time management, and his overarching point is that life is finite. We're all going to die sometime, so how we manage our time and pay attention to the details is important. He screams against the standard productivity guru drivel about how you can accomplish anything if you organize your to-do list properly. His approach is more along the lines of, well, let's accept that we'll never be able to make time for everything we want to do and let's be comfortable with that, and let's keep that in mind while we figure out what to do with our time, which is very great.
