The film tells the story of a young girl named Sophie – a hatmaker who is enchanted by a witch to turn into a 90-year-old woman with gray hair. Sophie is forced to leave her family and find a way to break the curse she wears. The girl is also very strong, intrepid, ignoring fears to start a new journey. Along the way, Sophie meets the wizard Howl at a giant flying castle. Since then, they adventure together to new lands and develop feelings for each other.
The film is about 2 people with different personalities, full of flaws but strangely harmonious and always trying for big goals. In the movie, the two main characters always give loving actions and words to each other. Love is sometimes about sacrificing yourself so that your loved one can be happy.
