Following the successful part 1, IT Chapter 2 continues the story of a group of young people in the town of Derry and their battle with Pennywise - the ghostly clown. Taking the timeline 27 years after part 1, the Losers Club group has now grown up and returned to Derry as promised to destroy Pennywise. But it is not an easy task, because the clown Pennywise evokes in them obsessions and painful memories. They were forced to keep their minds alert and steady to be able to fight him.
James McAvoy plays William Denbrough, commonly known as Bill. He was once the leader of the Losers Club, whose younger brother Georgie was murdered by Pennywise in part 1. After growing up, Bill became a very famous mystery novelist in Los Angeles.
