The song was written by "Hitman" Bang, RM, Supreme Boi, June, and Pdogg, with the latter five also producing. It was released on February 20, 2017, as the second single from Big Hit Entertainment's album. A Japanese version of the song was recorded and released on May 10, 2017, through Universal Music Japan. The song received generally positive reviews from music critics, who praised its energetic sound and lyrical content.
